Chicago Sports Update
This is an exciting time to be a sports fan in Chicago. The Blackhawks and Bulls are gearing up for playoff runs while the Cubs and White Sox have opened camp in Arizona.
The Blackhawks have made some key additions, including bringing back forward Andrew Ladd, to make a serious run at back to back Stanley Cup championships and their fourth in the last seven seasons. The Hawks have gone from being an afterthought to one of the Chicago’s most popular teams in the last decade.
The Bulls have had an up and down year and have had to deal with a ton of injuries. Despite all the turmoil, they are still in position to get themselves back into the postseason.
No matter if you allegiance lies on the North Side or South Side, this is the time of year when baseball fans are excited and hopeful for the new season. Both the Cubs and Sox have added new faces as the South Siders look to improve on a disappointing 2015 season while the Cubs look to make history and end a very long championship drought on the North Side.
And if this isn’t enough, March Madness is right around the corner!
